I just got off the phone with a tech who was out to put 10M modem into a cust’s house. Cust’s computer was running window’s 98 first edition, didn’t have an Ethernet card OR a USB port installed in the computer. I very caustically asked – “What did they expect to happen? That the computer and the modem would communicate telepathically?”
The tech didn’t laugh.
I was sad.

Love your blog. I'm flattered that you've added two of my blogs to your list. Thank you for commenting on Spncer. Yes, I have made the decision that if I can't get through to him and make him safe, I would never do what the previous owners did with him. It's not fair to let him sit for 2 years and then dump him on anyone else who will take him. They were so wrong. Yet, still won't admit it.
